Knee-high boots

The traditional winter footwear is the knee-high boot, available in a great range of patterns and colours. There are heeled knee-high boots, wedge styles and flat soles. What is more, they come in different heights, with pointed, round or square toes. The choice of fastenings is just as broad: you can opt for pull-on boots with no zip or other closure, or the very popular knee-high boots that fasten with zips, poppers or hook-and-loop. More sporty models may feature both a zip and decorative lacing. Knee-high boots are made in a variety of materials - most often natural leather, leather-look fabrics, suede or a stretch material that hugs the leg beautifully. The colour palette is wide too: you can find knee-high boots in virtually every colour and many shades, though black, grey and brown remain the most popular. Only a few women reach for knee-high boots in vivid red, pure white or intense cornflower blue. For many, the heel is essential, so they choose stiletto or block-heel knee-high boots. Others prefer a little more comfort and opt for a smaller or larger wedge, while women who want complete ease on city pavements choose flat soles. You can of course find fur-lined knee-high boots, as well as styles with a thin foam lining that offers little warmth and are often described as unlined. As you can see, there is no shortage of choice - it is wide enough for every woman to find her own pair. Prices depend on the material, its quality and quantity. Even so, every available model is a new arrival of the season and well worth a closer look.
